SPARKS, Curtis, R; age 49, of Linden, was born April 24, 1960. the son of Bessie Ann Sparks. He died at Centennial Medical Center on February 19, 2010. He is survived by one son; Curtlen Sparks of Linden, four daughters; Janelle Sparks of Mt. Pleasant, DeVern Watkins of Mt. Pleasant, Jalea and Adria Sparks of Linden. one brother; Tyrone Sparks of Parsons., five sisters; Gloria Blevins and Annette Ross of Alabama, Bonita Majors of Wisconsin, Kysa Frazier Jones of Linden and Chiquita McGuire of Mt. Juliet. Mr. Sparks was preceded in death by his Father; Ray Shockley and Mother; Bessie Ann Sparks.

Mr. Curtis was employed at the Town of Linden and was a member of the A.M E. church in Linden.

The Wake for Mr. Sparks will be Sunday Feb. 21, 2010 from 1-3 pm. with the Funeral Service conducted at 12 noon on Monday, February 22. 2010 at the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home in Linden with the Rev. Sharon Ogilvie officiating. Interment will follow at the Sparks Family Cemetery in Linden.
